Dr. Monique Leon

Dr. Monique Leon earned her DMD degree in 2003 from NOVA Southeastern University. Her desire to be the best dentist possible for her patients and her passion for learning has led her to expand her knowledge in dentistry by participating in some of the most prestigious continuing education courses in the country. Not only is she a General Dentist for people of all ages, she has been doing Invisalign and traditional braces for over 15 years.

Dr. Leon has had an interest in Dentistry since she was 7 years old. As a child, her experiences as a patient made her curious about this beautiful medical field, and with time it became a goal and passion of hers. Raised in Venezuela, she attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela Odontology School. After moving to the US, she was accepted and earned her doctorate from NOVA Southeastern University in 2003. Since graduation, she has continued enriching her knowledge through participation in various renowned CE courses.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, past Treasurer of the Albuquerque District Dental Society, and the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Leon is a mother of two wonderful boys. She enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and having meaningful connections with family and friends.
